The price is (obviously) not a dollar - we are an etsy seller with a proven track record of a 5 star rating and a star seller. Etsy over the last year or so has steadily increased fees. Those have to be passed on to you the buyer. I am not a big fan of contributing to third parties for transaction fees - so I developed a web site. There are many factors involved in determining a cost for a piece of custom made furniture - the wood cost and materials used to build along with labor. Another factor is delivery. This is determined by the location and size of the piece of furniture.
